Albert Clark
IASD Founder
LinkedIn Profile With a Master's degree in Aviation Science, Al is the founder of IASD. He is an aviation safety consultant, and the creator of the AviationSafetyX and ASXResearch platforms. With decades of experience as a pilot, aviation safety consultant, and published researcher, his work focuses on airport safety, operational risk, human factors, and systems-level analysis. He leads IASD’s mission to deliver independent, public-interest research, policy insight, and practical guidance aimed at improving aviation safety and infrastructure resilience globally.
Lisa Aquino

Lisa supports IASD’s research and knowledge-development initiatives across AviationSafetyX and ASXResearch. Her work focuses on technical research support, editorial development, and structured content synthesis in support of aviation safety, infrastructure resilience, and policy-focused initiatives aligned with IASD’s public-interest mission.

Matthew McKee supports IASD initiatives in the western United States, assisting with research collaboration, outreach to aviation organizations, and coordination with academic and industry partners. Karen Manco supports IASD operations in the eastern United States, assisting with outreach, organizational coordination, and engagement with aviation education and safety communities. Her role focuses on supporting research dissemination, stakeholder communication, and organizational development initiatives.
